An entrepreneur with a social media reach of over 100k followers, Micaela Brown created a national event marketing voice with an audience interested in event marketing, marketing, branding, and entrepreneurship. Her work has been featured by Forbes Travel, The New York Times, Travel Pulse, American Towns, New Mexico Entertainment Magazine, Albuquerque the Magazine, Albuquerque Business First, The Santafean, Santa Fe New Mexican, SantaFe.com, and NewsCastic.
Micaela founded Inspire People Media, LLC, an event production and marketing agency producing special events, product launches, social media, as well as their unique people media approach. Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of Inspire People Media LLC, Micaela Brown creates unique experiences around art, food, wine & whiskey, fashion, and culture. 2018 featured our newest trademarked event The Whiskey Classic! Past events include sophisticated initiatives such as The Running of the Chihuahuas (we really did race 150 chihuahuas), founding Diner en Blanc Albuquerque, and gaining permission from JK Rowling to produce Christmas at Hogwarts. Inspire People Media is globally accredited by IATA.
When not creating new products, concepts, or events, she can be found playing with her chihuahuas (natch), sipping wine, and chatting up random people (most likely).
Micaela was formerly an international trade and development consultant in Washington, D.C. with Target Market International, LLC., USAID contractor for Chemonics International, and International Trade Specialist with the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, International Buyer Program, International Trade Administration. She was also a paid intern at the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See in Rome, Italy. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communications from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and an M.A. in Government and Politics, with a focus in Public Administration, and Certification in International Law and Diplomacy from St. John’s University in Rome, Italy.
Micaela is a British-American Project Fellow, 2018 Windsor Castle Society of Leadership Fellows, and in 2017 became a Fellow of The Royal Society of the Arts. She has served on the British American Project USA Executive Committee since 2014.
